All firearms licensing for residents of Bernardston are managed by the Bernardston Police Department (BPD) by appointment only. Residents are encouraged to email the BPD at police@townofbernardston.org to schedule an appointment to receive your licenses. If email is not convenient, please call (413) 648-9208 to speak with a duty-officer about an appointment.

NOTE: (413) 648-9208 is a non-emergency phone line but it may be routed to the Shelburne Dispatch if an officer is not present at the Bernardston Police Department when you call. Shelburne Dispatch will know that it is a non-emergency call when they pick up, so a resident should not feel that they are bothering the 911 operators when their call is answered.
